Cloozz is backed by 30 years of experience in the jewelry and eyewear industries, driven by a rich family history in the retail and customer service industries. Simon’s dad, Rafael, opened a silver and gold workshop in the ‘80s where he specialized in curating personalized jewels and statement pieces for his loyal clientele.
After watching his father pursue his passion and interest in the space, Simon dove into the family business, concentrated on small, detailed, lightweight products before helping with the workshop’s expansion into eyewear. He led the charge in designing and distributing these products to optical retailers across the U.S.
Simon saw the opportunity to combine both industries and provide customers with the ability to express themselves through jewellery and eyewear. This is where the vision for Cloozz was born.
